Welcome To ST. JOSEPH HIGH SCHOOL, GHORPURI,

St. Joseph High School, an English medium school, was established in 1956 by Rt. Rev. Andrew D’Souza, the Bishop of Poona. It is now managed by the Poona Diocesan Educational Society. It is a co-educational school and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. The school comprises classes from nursery to standard X.

St. Joseph High School is a Christian minority school that aims to provide an all-round education – academic, physical, moral, cultural and spiritual – primarily to Catholics, for whose education the institution has been established, and also to other children irrespective of religion or race in so far as that is consonant with Catholic principles.

The school is named after St. Joseph. He is a model for both staff and students, as he was a just and wise man who lived out his faith in God.

Our Vision
